Certifications
ISO 9001:2015
Asphalt Production, Contracting and Quarrying Divisions. In April 2010 Peter Fitzpatrick Limited were certified with the International Quality Standard ISO9001 for the manufacture and laying of bituminous mixes and production of aggregates. National Highway Sector Scheme 16 and the Construction Products Regulations are included in the certification. In 2018 the company was successful in transitioning to the ISO9001:2015 standard.
ISO 14001:2015
Asphalt Production, Contracting and Quarrying Divisions. First certified in 2008, Peter Fitzpatrick Limited has firmly stamped its commitment to its environmental management system. The system is based on continuous improvement and shows that the company directors recognise the importance in assessing, monitoring and controlling the effects of our activities on the environment.
Safe-T-Cert
Asphalt Production and Contracting Divisions. Peter Fitzpatrick Ltd's Asphalt Division achieved accreditation in 2006. Safe-T-Cert is a third party accredited health and safety scheme developed jointly by the Construction Employers Federation in Belfast and the Construction Industry Federation in Dublin. It was developed from the 18001/2 documentation but enhanced specifically for the construction industry. It is based on ‘best practice’ requirements for international and national bodies, including ILO guidelines. Safe-T-Cert is recognised under the ‘Buildsafe’ initiative in Northern Ireland and the ‘Construction Safety Partnership’ in the Republic of Ireland.
